Breads, Cakes and Pies
Using essential oils in the oven provides a simple way to add flavor to desserts, cakes and breads. Whether you want to give your cookies a touch of flavor or your desserts a healthy taste, essential oils are sure to come in handy when baking breads, cakes and pies. Remember, when essential oils are baked in the oven, a large part of the oil will evaporate due to the heat. For this reason, it's best to add a little more oil to the mix. Keep in mind that strong oils still need to be used in smaller amounts, but oils that have a milder chemistry can be used generously to ensure the flavor resists cooking.
