The Cutoline 444 Hemostatic Pencil (Red)

Quantity: 10g

Where to use?

Minor cuts (eg cuts  caused by a razor blade or razor blades). It is also very useful in the kitchen, where small cuts often occur. So, have more than one hemostatic pencil at home: keep one in the bathroom and the other in the kitchen, so it's always at hand when needed.

How does it work?

Immediately stops the blood and disinfects.

How to apply?
Hemostatic pencils must be applied directly to the cut, pressing lightly, leaving it to act for a few seconds. You can wet the tip of the pencil a little beforehand, to make the application easier. The result is blood stopping almost immediately. A whitish residue may remain on the wound which is a normal consequence of applying the pencil.

What composition?

Aluminum sulphate and potassium alum are mainly responsible for the main function  of this product: to stop the blood, avoiding the hassle of always drying the blood while it doesn't stop at a small wound.

Humestone vs hemostatic pencil
Maybe there are some men who prefer the use of humestone to stop the blood from cuts when shaving, instead of the hemostatic pencil, but the truth is that these two products have slightly different actions.
The hume stone can be used even when there are no cuts, as it helps to close the pores after shaving, thus promoting skin disinfection and a more even appearance. On the other hand, the hemostatic pencil should only be used to stop the blood and is more effective in this action than the humestone.
