Hydrogen peroxide, of the formula H2O2, is chemically read as hydrogen peroxide. It contains several properties and benefits.
It can be used both as an antiseptic disinfectant and for beauty treatments. See below, in the Additional information, the various ways to use hydrogen peroxide.
Concentration: 10 Volumes
Composition: purified water, 3% hydrogen peroxide (w / w), stabilizers.

Why should we use diluted hydrogen peroxide?
The hydrogen peroxide if used pure can cause serious injuries. It is a very dangerous substance. Therefore, it is only used in this state by professionals in chemical laboratories. The hydrogen peroxide sold as an antiseptic in pharmacies comes diluted in ordinary water, with its concentration classified in volumes - the weakest is volume 10, for home use, while 20 is more used in hospitals.

Hydrogen peroxide or hydrogen peroxide is used to disinfect surfaces and objects, due to its effectiveness in destroying coronavirus, with a concentration of 0.5% being recommended. Its preparation can be carried out as follows:
- Hydrogen peroxide 10 volumes (3%)
- Distilled water (missing, bottled or piped water)
- Place 6 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide (approximately 60 ml) in a container and add 1 cup of distilled water (approximately 240 ml);
- Mix well.
- Place in a container with vaporizer / disperser.
OTHER WAYS TO USE OXYGENED WATER AT HOME
Before proceeding to the various uses, please note the following: Hydrogen peroxide can be very dangerous if ingested and, depending on its concentration, can cause serious damage, burning the skin and eyes. The hydrogen peroxide mentioned below is 3%.
IN THE BATHROOM
Shine the mirror or glass surfaces: Spray a 1: 1 solution of hydrogen peroxide and water on the glass surfaces and then clean with a lint-free cloth.
Eliminate mold: Mold accumulates easily in humid environments such as the bathroom. To eliminate mold, spray with hydrogen peroxide with a volume of 3% undiluted and leave for 30 minutes. Then wash. A study on residential dishwashers found that 83% of them have fungi and 47% yeasts of the E. dermatitidis species, which can be harmful to humans. Washing vegetables - and increasing their useful life: A simple wash with water does not actually wash vegetables. Gardeners recommend using 1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide (3% volume) to help remove bacteria from vegetables. When washing delicate vegetables, such as lettuce, soak for 20 minutes and then rinse. Carrots, potatoes and other vegetables can stay 30 minutes before rinsing and drying. Because bacteria can cause vegetables and fruits to turn brown, hydrogen peroxide is believed to keep them fresh in the refrigerator for longer. Avoid doing so with absorbent foods, such as mushrooms. For this type of food use a cloth moistened with water and a little hydrogen peroxide.
Cleaning the pots: If the roasting pans, pots and pans have a brown layer of sugity, spray baking soda and hydrogen peroxide, volume 3%. Soak for one to three hours before rinsing.

Bleaching old porcelain: Use a vegetable loofah dipped in 3% oxygenated water and baking soda to rub yellowish porcelain objects. Amazing result!
Remove stains and lighten white clothes: Use hydrogen peroxide as an effective way to remove stains. Try to rub the back of the fabric to start. Mix 1/2 cup of baking soda and 1/2 cup of hydrogen peroxide. Start the cycle, let the washing machine fill and apply the mixture to the clothes for a few hours before finishing the cycle to lighten and sanitize.
Remove wine and blood stains: 10% hydrogen peroxide. Pour directly on the stain and let it act for five minutes. Then rub the piece with your hands or with the help of a soft brush. Finally, rinse in cold water. It may be necessary to repeat the process to obtain a satisfactory result.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) classifies hydrogen peroxide safe for humans in low doses. But the organization warns that the application of hydrogen peroxide to the skin can cause irritation, burning and blistering.
In contact with the eyes, it can burn the cornea. Breathing in hydrogen peroxide in higher concentrations can also cause irritation in the airways, tightness in the chest, hoarseness or shortness of breath. And swallowing hydrogen peroxide, especially in higher concentrations, can cause vomiting, inflammation or organ damage.
Why does hydrogen peroxide bubble?
The hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), has an oxygen atom more than the water. Due to this additional oxygen atom, the substance becomes very unstable and if exposed to air, that atom is easily released.
For this reason, bottles containing hydrogen peroxide must be kept tightly closed. On the other hand, the chemical reaction of hydrogen peroxide with the blood and plasma exposed in a wound, is due to the release of the excess oxygen atom. And it is this reaction of liberation of the atom that causes the liquid to bubble - only ordinary water is left. Hydrogen peroxide is used for asepsis (cleaning) of wounds because, in the process, it eliminates 60% of the bacteria that could cause inflammation in the area.
