Lavender essential oil is known for its calming, sedative and hypotensive (lower blood pressure) (lowering blood pressure) properties (muscle relaxant). Helps restore body harmony and natural balance. The 'oils are really pure' (hydrolates are water obtained from the distillation of essential oils).
Benefits
One of its main characteristics is the impact it has on our nervous system, acting in cases of headache, insomnia, nervousness, stress, mood swings, anxiety, anguish, irritability, among others. If used, it can have the opposite effect, increasing wakefulness.
Lavender oil has antiseptic properties so it can also be used to treat acne and insect bites.
How to apply
Direct application: To help you relax or sleep. One to two drops on the wrists, pillow or soles of the feet.
It can be added to conditioning shampoos or body cream and take advantage of the aromatherapy effect of the gentle lavender scent.
Immersion bath: Add 8 to 10 drops of oil in the bath water and enjoy a real relaxing SPA, lighting some candles with the same aroma to create the perfect environment. For sensitive skin reduce the number of drops.
Massages: Can be used directly or diluted on more sensitive skin.
Compresses: 5 drops of oil diluted in ½ liter of water and can be used to soothe skin irritations, burns or insect bites.
Synergies: You can use essential oils diluted in a vegetable oil, using a maximum of 4 essential oils. For a mixture of 100ml of vegetable oil, use a maximum of 10 to 12 drops of each essential oil.
